Team Rules

 

Grades – All students are required to maintain a C average or better.  There will be a homework table available at each practice for the wrestler to work on their assignments each day

D = 10 minutes intense cardio training
F = 20 minutes intense cardio training

Conduct – Wrestlers will be held to a higher standard than the average student.  You represent the team at all times.

N = 10 minutes intense cardio training
U = 30 minutes intense cardio training

Tardiness – Wrestlers are expected to be dressed and ready to work out by 2:40.  2:41 is late!  The only excused tardy will be one accompanied by a teacher’s note.

1st unexcused Tardy – 10 minutes intense cardio training
2nd unexcused Tardy - 20 minutes intense cardio training

 

Absences – Wrestling is one of the most grueling and intense sports around.  Because of this, we require you to be at every practice.  When you miss a day of practice it puts you behind the others in conditioning, training and technique.  You will be required to do 30 minutes of cardio training when you return from a missed practice.

 

Suspensions – Suspensions are caused from a lack of discipline.  They do nothing but distract the team from its common goal.  Because of this suspensions will be handle differently depending on the situation.
